Phew! This was done on commission for Halloween, and I just barely got it done in time due to school pulling a fast one on us (hooray for having one week to pattern, mockup, fit and then build a dress!). I am, however, so happy I got to make this, because it is so pretty! I love green, but I usually don't think to pair it with anything but yellow or gold, so doing the silver accent was a really nice change for me. All the silver is shiny lamΓ©, so it is very sparklie, but there isn't too much as to look like "a big ball of tacky" (as ~MedeaHiasobi would say).Green faux silk kimono style top with uber long sleeves, lots of spider web sheer fabric accents. Gray skirt that is really long in back and shorter in the front. Bat-like bow in the back, with much stuff trailing behind it. Spider web shawl.
All in all, I'm so happy it came out like the drawing.
I couldn't find any silver tassles, though, which is amazing considering Christmas is in every retail store at the moment, but I'll either make some and send them to her, or I'll see what I can find online. Also, hair thingers in the future, but again, I thought it was more important to have the outfit to her in time, instead of holding everything up for that!

If you check my tutorials, I have one on how to make the obis where the bow is separate - I just like the look of it, and it's a lot easier to make IMO. Plus, it lets you do crazy shapes with it~

Lol, it's a new one, and one of the few things that addicted me on my friend's PsP. I was going to get into FFT, but it seems the DS is getting a version too, so waiting for that.
Instead, I have Persona3FES and City of Villains to play for now.

Hrm, I'd still be interested - I really liked the FFT for the GBA, it was quite a bit of fun, so I'm sure I'll like this one (plus, it was 1000x easier than the original FFT XP)

I liked there being new races to choose from rather than the same blonde characters constantly. In the end I'm looking forward to it too, but I have a love/hate relationship with the card system.

I'm so glad you think so! I was afraid I might have done too much with the shiny silver, but I think, looking back at it, that it's awesome, and not as overwhelming as I thought it was... but then, I was staring at one small corner of it constantly... so... yeah... tunnel vision had kicked in...
