OH YEAH! This was my entry for the DramioneLove Mini Fest 2016! The fest is over, so I can finally post this here! The prompt I chose was: Prompt #: 40 - "Restricted Section secret meeting." And a BIG THANKS to RZZMG as always for hosting such an awesome fest! <3
This piece was a monster. Honestly, I spent so many hours on it. AND I DIDN’T. MEAN. TO. I greatly underestimated how long it would take me to draw a library. All the hours just drawing all those books...! And then I decided to have a complicated light source. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking when I planned this all out??
But I did it! And I’m pleased with how Draco and Hermione turned out, I think their body language says it all I’ll post the small blurb that I wrote to go with the image below. I’m hoping to make this a print soon. I hope you guys enjoy~
After trudging through the library's stacks in the Restricted Section, Draco comes across Hermione doing her own research in a glowing tome on a shelf. When she turns to greet him, the books' glow illuminates them both and creates a mood that takes them both by surprise. She can't stop staring at his lips; he can't stop staring at her eyes. And when they both surrender and fall into the kiss, they find it was a long time coming...and it's absolutely everything they ever wanted.
