Well folks, after month of creating MLP wallpapers I decided it is time to try something new. I always wanted to create my own MLP drawings but I wasn't sure if I was any good at it. But as time went on I tried many different techniques to see what works best for me.And here you have my very first MLP drawing.
It's not perfect but it turned out MUCH better than I thought it would.
This is actually an important step for me because it encourages me to improve my drawing skills.
This basically means I won't just upload wallpapers but also drawings in the future and maybe pushing my limits even further.
The program I used for this is Sai.

Actually I got the idea for this artwork because I always position Twilight and Dash like that.
And you're right, they fit together surprisingly good.

Ok, so you posted this in the 'Work for Critique' section of the ATG group. So I'mma do that.
Keep in mind however two things:
~I am not a professional, or even remotely experiences.
~I only do traditional art (You know, brushes and ink and stuff.) and as such I may not understand a lot of technical aspects of your work if you are a digital artist

First... Try... Not fair... I think my first try ended up looking like Cthulhu eating a wombat...
This is ridiculously well done... Vectors and magical digitally stuff make it look clean and professional.
Some thoughts:
~Rainbow's face pressing up against Twi's is perfect! Very realistic capture of realistic face squishing! Something that's always vexed me! Very very good job!
~Legs and body/head are very well shaped and proportioned!
Just a few things I'm seeing:
~The lines in the tail could be smoother, no biggie though, you barely notice it.
~RD's hair colours should curve with her hair instead of being straight lines.
~Twilight's lower mane looks a bit stiff without a curve.
~Her neck gets a bit wide at the top, but that might just be me, I'm not actually sure
Overall very well done and professionally presented, me gusta.
