I would say, "Hesitantly." I have to be interested in doing the illustration to begin with, because money doesn't motivate me very much, though I do like to be paid... so, if that isn't confusing enough.

This is the situation:

2 years ago I had a car crash and since then it's made me realize what I could have missed out on in life and what I didn't know about my own history.

So I researched my ancestors and looking at their lives I've noticed one very common thing, we all have the strength to defeat all obsticles. I've seen the Lennon family crest but it just doesn't do my family any justice considering what I've found in my search and so I wondered if together we could create a much better Crest? One to be proud of.

I'm not opposed to that. I'm not at all familiar with any Lennon crest, or how you think it should be improved upon, but I'm definitely willing to hear it out.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. The Lennon family were origonally Irish before they settled in Scotland and England and looking at the crest (link below) I don't find it to be very flattering at all. The Lennons seem to have a history of Mining, Farming, The Royal Artillery and as much as I hate to admit it, being involved in grissly accidents.

I was thinking of doing a Crest that would show the Lennons for what they are, a family that has the Strength to Defeat all obsticles within their way.

It's more along the lines of what our crest is meant to be but I wasn't quite happy with the design. I'm perfectly happy with the stag as it's a reminder of my fanatical Harry Potter obsession.

I can tell you that I would greatly prefer that you find your own design. I've never really been keen on the idea of people tattooing themselves with my images. I do not like the idea of being associated with someone's displeasure later in life that they have this random image on their skin in a semi permanent fashion. As far as this particular design, I think you'd be better served by something that has some personal meaning rather than the crest of a family that is personified by greed.

i take it ur not really into tattoo's

but if i was you i wuld be stoked if someone was that into ur work they were willing to get it tattooed on em. even if they do regret it later on in life. not ur problem.

well i was wanting a shiled with wings and i think they look wicked on urs.
but its ok i have a frined who said he wuld design me something. he designed his own family crest and it came out great.
