Description:
---------------
The Whiptail-class light escort corvette is based on the Stingray-class light corvette and was designed as a dedicated light escort and patrol ship.
This ship is essentially a drastically overhauled version of the Stingray-class. The most significant improvement lies in its significantly higher maneuverability compared to the rather sluggish Stingray- and Swordfish-class light corvettes. Additionally, its main engines are more powerful, and its armament has been completely overhauled, now consisting exclusively of small, modern turrets with excellent coverage and convergence.
The Whiptail-class primarily operates close to government-operated installations as a light escort and patrol ship. In addition to that, it is sometimes deployed as a rear-line combat unit alongside other light corvettes.
