Description:
---------------
The Blackrock II-class asteroid mining station is a basic mining outpost, trading hub and auxiliary supply depot.
In technical terms, the Blackrock-pattern mining stations encompass a series of straightforward prefabricated buildings and modules that can be affixed to almost any medium-sized asteroid. These modules range from residential structures and warehouses to various-sized turret emplacements. As per Union regulations, any government-operated facility must possess the capability to support naval operations to a certain extent, contingent on the size and nature of the installation. In this regard, the Blackrock I-class station is designed to store a limited quantity of torpedoes to provision strategic strike groups.
During the initial expansion phase of the UFS, the basic Blackrock-class asteroid mining stations played a pivotal role both economically and strategically.
