Homer, upon entering a 3D world: "There's so much I don't know about astrophysics. I wish I'd read that book by that wheelchair guy..."The Simpsons have become enmeshed into our western culture, don't you think?
EDIT: Homer is not Photoshopped. It was a cardboard homer sitting in the window of this old apartment building.

I love street shots, you never know what you might catch in them.
Funny thing is that homer is like the Vice City standee i have at home currently sitting next to my tv.
I think i would have shot you if you'd centered the windows thats a big no no in my books and it would have really thrown the picture off.
The lines in the image really split it up nicely together with the windows to make great composition, and very clever with putting someone in there also, thats what really starts the image off, your eyes are drawn straight from them as they walk slightly uphill then you hit the first window and work your way up untill your hit by homer.

Great shot.
I just showed it to my girlfriend, thinking that she would appreciate it as she is a huge Simpsons fan, plus she lives in Saint John (which I assume is where you took this).
Her response was that she knew exactly where it was (Union street), and even knows the person who lives in that apartment.
Small world, huh?

Haha this is quite a humourous photo. Nice catch, it's not something that common eye would notice on a normal day, I don't think. Great job to catch the woman walking through the photo as well, adds a little more to it. Nothing to change with this image, it's just about perfect, sweet shot!

I don't think the cardboard cutout is there anymore... it was taken on the corner of Germain and Union... that building on the corner up from the Aliant/NBTel building.

I have newly fallen in love the "random deviation" link. I love how it takes me to good stuff like this. this is just freakin awesome. Very imaginative work. I have never watched the simpsons, but does homer actually say that on the show? I just thought that one would have to be such an idiot to say something like that!

lol. Stephen Hawking is awesome though. The guy can't even use a calculator. Well, you seem interested in science. "Tachy-on" is that theoretical particle that moves so fast that it can't SLOW DOWN to the speed of light (if you didn't know already). Alas, the tachyon has been disproved...
