I really cant find an example, i saw a mural the other day, it was a face and kinda though you could combine those. 3d with a more naturalistic touch.

Maybe, think like taking the geometric form and giving it a natural smoothness, imagine warping flexible plastic over a primitive abstract wire frame letterform, all the stretches, tears and smoothness, i hope i made the image clear, it is hard to describe. I see your work over time and i believe you are better, i just hope to see the next step after 3d.

yes, i think i do! I mean, obviously graffiti doesn't really exist in real, like a 3D object. But the 3D without outline makes it look like an object. And It's so difficult to combine the abstractness of graffiti and the eehm trueness(?) of real objects. The result was 3D. But In your way (as i see it) it misses a dimension. But i think the texture needs to be combined somehow also, not just like a 3D piece with like a wooden texture... Though i'm not sure what! The combination of the third dimension and the abstract graffiti is now on it's way. It's just hard because letters have never been less flat.

I like your train of thought, our problem ads up that no matter how hard you try to manipulate letters, they always seem to bother us in our daily life ...
I believe that the question is, why not stop manipulating words and move to something else? There was some kind of a space graffiti project that i remember, it was like painting with a device that was actually wirelessly traced and formulated the given image into a 3d element that could be seen through digital glasses connected to the machine that did the translation. Its like connecting the real environment with a similar 3d environment and painting in it digitally. Imagine photoshop applied to space. I really start to see the erosion of reason in the graffiti scene though, this is also the reason i stopped doing it. What i say is that the reason graffiti was actually put up to walls, mostly political, is almost dead. It has been turned into art, i dont have objection to this but once it is quite real, could we ditch the spraycan and draw freely into space digitally?
Why should we be confronted on actually texturing already existing surfaces and not create new ones visible through software?
If graffiti is not political, i dont see a reason not to move to something like that as art! There has been some discussion on the matter of user interface shift that could actually be linked to that exact ability, it is not replacing graffiti by no means, but it gives space for play and exploration.

I know that this leads do different fields of expertise but once people are thinking of the shift, should there be thoughts of possible "apps" for something like that?
I mean think of how big could this market become! A shift in user interface that interacts with space?! wow!... that brings a lot of space for entrepreneurs.

I sortof despise the day digital and real will be combined, but as they say in the video, inevitable. I'm just very curious how art will adept to these new prospects. Like between the golden age (just an example) and now. They created great, painted art of people, mostly in high ranks. And i really appreciate it. But when i see pictures like it in museums, i miss something. I just don't know what! maybe the dynamic, the true moving picture, which i think modern art - even art that doesn't resemble more than colors or feelings - has more. There should also be that combination possible. All things I think will one day come together, and i really hope i will still be there that day.
Also, you probably will like this:

it might be alot less useful, or scientifically helpful, but art mostly isn't (and i'm still seeiing this topic from the eye of an artist) but it's there! The combination. However very flawed.
And also this:

Which still is only seable through the camera, but that isn't a neccesary limitation, we can overcome that.
I'm trying to really proceed in art. Get to the top; now only graffiti because i think it's a really great thing. And I know i have a long looong way too go. But if people will ever reach this point i hope i could have a hand in it.
This is yet only a 16 year old's dream, but i think imagination and dreaming are the keys.

You will reach the top if this is your goal, i believe this isnt our true goal, i believe this is all about communion, if you manage to gather the proper people, with a passion that surpasses your passion but is still similar, only then you can truly create something beyond of what is the norm. If you look at it from this perspective you see that, hacking your way through what is given to you and adjusting it to your needs is the first step. After that, the knowledge you already have will help you to get something out, which will stun people. But are we after the goal or the journey? Is it all about impressing? If it is we are still far away from success because, impressions ultimate goal is individual confirmation, its like monkeys fighting over a mate... Recently i started organizing something, mainly for financial growth and i soon realized this is not the way to go, ofcourse the medium is almost always material, after all we are material. But i realized that to truly create something beyond you... something that is not related to a client... (given the example of artists painting for whom gives them money "high ranking people") needs a lot of "nerds" in a room. Imagine the brainstorming orgasm that will give you this spark you are looking for and you will inevitably end up dreaming of that room, filled with nerds, tinkering over something. Also to act upon my obligations i needed to set my life on a pace, this is important, really important. Finding the proper timing to do something, generating demand for it, acting on the moment and not letting someone else grab it from you... cause you might get good.. but you might be late to act with all the goodness you posses
Fucking theory... another idea is to jump right into something and swim! Start doing, gain momentum man! Imagination + Dream + Science = Hacking (not necessarily in the bad meaning of the word) What do you think?
The links you posted are great, i loved the leizer graffiti on buildings.

Yes, all steps need to be taken, one at a time, and always starting at the first step. Also we must realise that our effort, no matter how extensive, can't ever be compared to a group, working together in harmony, giving much more result, however maybe less effort.
Yes, i say good idea, sometimes people will find they suit things well when they are thrown upon them, instead of taking them. But this wouldn't nearly always be true.
I'm wondering, did you read 'the 7 habits of highly effective people' by Stephen R. Covey? It's alot like the lessons you are learning me, or more the theorie's and idea's that when interpreted and forfilled correctly could give a true breakthrough in our lives! It's very good if you haven't read it already.
Also i wanted to appologize for my lacky english, I'm from Holland
Thanks, good to hear you liked them!
