A classic but always creepy and fascnating image. I like the old photograph feel and the empty sky which takes like half of the space in the picture. it has a very strong effect.

Tuomiopäivän trooperihan se siinä. Värit on mahtavat, samoin kuvan säröisyys. tykkään ideastakin, mutta se olisi voinut puvustuksessa/paikan valinnassa kaivata lisää työtä. esim. Doomwatcherilla taitaa olla lenkkarit jalassa

No ei sentään noin pahaa kämmiä ole tapahtunut, että ei nuo lenkkarit ole vaan taisivat ihan maiharit olla
Ja itse omat perversiot vetävät kirveiden ja metsän luokse
Mutta voisihan siitä jonkun city-versionkin tehdä. Pitäisi eka

No sitä meikäläinenkin ihmetteli vähän aikaa. Mutta näköjään, vaikka subscribe loppuu niin nuo print-edut vielä jää. Eli voi pistää töitä printeiksi. Huomasin tämän kun uppasin tota spideytä ja kysyi haluanko tehdä siitä printin. Ja kuten huomaat, siellähän senkin saa printtinä

I have to say that the film grain and the doutoned effect really makes this one of the most interesting and beautiful photographs from a portrait stand point. The tired pose of the ax over the shoulder,looking out over what is to come for him.. that is what i get from this..you inspire me..

It's not a print, because I'm not no longer a subscriber. I was a subscriber for a month, because it was a gift. But if someone is willing to buy me a nother month I can put this as a print

nice use of the negative space in the sky to creat a greater feling of being alone. Good color choice . I like it all

I really like this how the masked figure seems sinister and omanous but still seems to stare into the distance sort of sadly waiting for oncoming doom. Reminds me of a DVD I watched recently about the lack of resources in the world connecting the axe to the chopping down of trees in the forest.
I also like the 'old' feeling this picture has as well the bleakness it expresses.

Very eerie atmosphere. I love the way he's offset with the expanse of forest out in front of him. It makes a very nice compositon. I'm curious as to where the red and blue speckles come from though. Did you print this out on some strange paper or perhaps add a texture to it in photoshop? Either way, it's goes great with the photograph. Wonderful job!

The speckles indeed came from a texture, but in my comp they don't look red nor blue
But they are a part of the old photo feel.

whoa...Great picture, and great concept...can not lose there. The blur is an excellent touch, gives everything a worn out feeling, that or a dead feeling. Which is only brought out more by the textures and fog in the back. +fav
