Very similar to the original however there are some big improvements.
The most noticeable improvement is the shading. Its far smother and adds a great amount of depth. The mane and tail look very real with a the attention on each little strand of hair.
In my opinion the wings look a little unnatural, possibly adding a little more texture like the original would make them look more like feathers.
The eyes are well detailed however they look rather "dead". Maybe having darker pupils and larger irises would add some more contrast and some more realism.
You have strong colors, very smooth shapes, and plenty of detail. This is a phenomenal piece of work.
