I finally finished (more like got around to) making his ref ;^;i love him so much
Grim had gained frisk's soul after they both 'wasted' their lives researching frisk's time manipulation ability. After being overwhelmed by the power of a human soul, Grim has been transported to another timeline and accidentally killed that timeline's Sans. overcome by confusion and determination to carry on frisk's wish, Grim took the position of that timeline's sans. Unfortunately he was transported to a 'genocide run'. After realizing his ideal life was taken by the Human, his power's of time manipulation out-ranked the humans and they were not able to 'reset', ad Grim absorbed their soul and traveled to another timeline.
And so he continues to travel timelines (his bad luck causes him to only encounter genocide runs) in hope to find his ideal timeline. He cleanses the timelines of evil humans and takes their souls.
When killing and/or attacking, He leaves behind a sort of virus which removes all pain from their body but slowly eats away at their body... it makes the soul easier to absorb... ( example:
