I'm just wondering. What do you do for a living if I may ask? Do you work as an artist?

Ahh no, I'm working/studying at university (Translation-Linguistic / Pedagogy faculties), hoping to make more time for art in 3 years after (if) I'm done with my studying in... erm... It's a bit hard to explain but it's like a step between the MA and the PhD degrees that we have here in the educational system~

ok, then you have probably different plans for your career.
Do you follow a particular school of painting because things always look like you know what you are doing.

Not settled yet tbh)
Huh, I always find it interesting that people say that actually because strong base and consistency are those two aspects I regard myself lacking in... It always seems like both my style and source of inspiration are ever-changing but I guess it's somewhat safe to say I'm, on the whole, influenced by the contemporary artists I come across as well as classics, such as Tom Lovell, Sargent, Zorn, Serov, Kramskoi, Chistyakov, Fechin... Oh, I also have great pleasure and find much helpful insight through Jeff Watts and Zimou Tan videos on youtube (there're most definitely more of such artists but these two were the ones who popped in mind immediately).
So yeah, it's kinda all over the place but that's pretty much it for me as of now.

I see! Do you think you would like to combine linguistic and art? I often think I'd like to combine my passion for reading on psychology with my work as an artist because there's nothing more interesting for me than the human mind after all .
I get you, I also don't think I have a style but other people seem to see a cohesiveness in my work where I just see random pictures . It's probably because of the things and artists that you surround yourself with and it's obvious to pick the things you pick but it's not so obvious to other people.
Thanks for that list of artists, I need to check them all out because I notice you seem to look at completely different artists than I usually do. I really like Michael Hampton, Gottfried Bammes, Samantha Youssef and Joe Mad. He's my guilty pleasure but I just love his bold lines and everything in his art just says "boom", "cool!" or "kapow!" and sometimes I need that
