Sam is a part of Kaede's squad, but after Vanessa joins, Kaede commands her to take Vanessa under her wing and teach everything there is to know about being a member of the Order. Sam is a very good soldier, but has a bit of a case of ADD, and often loses track of what she's supposed to be doing. She also spends alot of time on Aurelia, and is considered an expert on much of the alien life there. Sam is considered the comedian of the squad, and will do anything to deliver a good joke. She's almost never in a truly serious mood, atleast, until the genocide, after which her mood becomes far more depressive. Sam is present for just about every major encounter with Aya, alongside Vanessa, Daniel, and Kaede. She survives the battle against Nightmare Aya, but is a very different person afterwards.
