Ateyatir was a female warrior from one of the islands surrounding Hearthwind. The island was home to a tribe of warrior women, and Ateyatir was one of their fiercest warriors. She lead them into countless battles against other nearby tribes, but things changed for the worse when the Empire discovered the island. The Empire's strike force decimated the tribe, wiping them all out, except for Ateyatir. She fought viciously, slaying soldier after soldier until she reached Commander Vogun. He struck the warrior down, and after severely scarring her mouth with flame, took her as a slave. For years she stay in his personal area of the castle, raped and beaten frequently. Broken and tired, a form of Stockholm Syndrome began to set in, and Ateyatir began to look up to Vogun. Shortly after her change, Vogun realized her potential, and gave her command over the new shipments of slaves. Ateyatir became as ruthless as her predecessor, beating and whipping the slaves until they could stand no more, then continuing because they wouldn't stand. For years she toiled as the Slavemaster of Castle Salazonia, until Vogun tried his old ways with her. Being a cold, broken soul, she ran him through with a sword, killing him. Salazonia would've had her executed had he not hated Vogun, and so he let her live. She was finally put out of her misery during Fer'khan's attack on the castle.
