The Primarashi are smaller kaiju, located only in the Inner Earth and as such were unknown to humanity until they decided to explore the home of the giant beasts.

The Primarashi are simple beasts, living only to feed and breed. While most kaiju are seen to be highly intelligent, with individual personalities, the Primarashi are among the few that seem to be far more animalistic. This isn't to say they are dumb, they are surprisingly clever creatures; able to hunt efficiently in packs, set up ambushes and use rudimentary tools. Because of this, they are a scourge within the Highland Jungles, often breeding out of control and killing far more prey than they need to sate their hunger. This has brought the ire of Moloch upon them, as he sees himself as a protector of those lands. Thus it is not uncommon for expeditions to the area to witness the great ape culling the hordes of Primarashi in an effort to keep their population in check.
