The medium you chose really makes the elegance of the brush / pen strokes stand out. Looking at your tile pieces inspires one to contemplate how a paintbrush shapes the layers of paint, and thus, the texture of a painting. Texture makes a huge difference in how the painting reflects light; the same color painted on a flat surface will undoubtedly appear as a different shade on a textured surface from a viewer's perspective. The entire flow of a piece is often dictated by the directions of the brushstrokes. I think that your penmanship is remarkable; the characters are formed with care and are not the crude, flat lines of somebody who has only recently picked up his brush / pen for the first time.
Perhaps I am over analyzing what you've done, but something struck me as being particularly attractive about what you've done to these tiles. Very cool!

I don't use any brush except for calligraphy. I used only pen to write this. texture is made by fingers only.
