She was designed using the latest tech just before the Cardassian war. This had the warp nacelles that preceded the Brahms designs, robust pylons to minimize separation in battle and at high warp. An Ambassador style secondary hull but much more up to date. The primary hull was adorned with a roll bar that contained a shuttle bay, phaser cannons and torpedo launcher. She never made it into battle due to electronics issues. Production stopped after only 50 of them were made. Once the issues were fixed, the war was all but over. The 50 ships were fixed and used to patrol borders and hunt pirates.
