"Who Knows What Evil Lurks in the Hearts of Men?? The Shadow Knows...."Decided to post the sprite I made for the Shadow earlier this year.
This was, obviously, quite a challenge to make. Had to really 'Franken-sprite' this one. Used bits and pieces from Rolento, (body, face) Strider, (scarf) Jill, (guns) and Holhorse (hat)
Used the look usually seen with the 90's Dark Horse Comics (In the Coils of the Leviathan, Mysterious Three, etc.).
Hope it looks good.

Thank god he isn't wielding Mac-10s. I have no idea why DC decided to do that.

thanks. Yeah... I like Howard Chaykin, but his Shadow run was just... bizarre. I won't bring up how it ended. XD

Definitely love it. The father of superheroes. I wouldn't be surprised if that variation ended in bloodshed. I thought it was overkill for Chaykin to give The Shadow a pair of Mac-10s over Colt 45s. If it was The Spider, it would be one thing.

*sighs* Chaykin's run ended with the Shadow having his decapitated head put onto a giant robot suit. It was as stupid as it sounds... here's THE COVER [link]
yeah it's no surprise why they immediately ended it after that and basically went back to proper Shadow stories.

I read about that in the timeline on the Shadow. I thought it was really stupid myself. Their's other ways to revive him. Hell, since DC had him, they could've just dropped him in the Lazarus Pit and be done with it. Though I seriously doubt he would go crazy from it, but he may be temporarily lose his movement capabilities temporarily.
That does look really lame. They should've stuck with the age delaying potions.

*shrugs* they went back to more normal Shadow stories after that, acting like the whole Chaykin thing never happened. They took Shadow back to his regular time period, and even threw in a Doc Savage crossover.
