Description
Another dip into the world of anime and manga, this time classic Go Nagai creation 'Devilman', quite possibly one of the original 'anti-heroes' of anime and manga. Before guys like Hellboy punched his way through the demonic hordes, the Devilman was slashing through the satanic armies. Though like Anung Un Rama, the end results don't always work out well for Devilman.There have been MANY incarnations of this character since his creation in 1972. Mangas, Animes, Movies, Sequels/Spin-offs and even crossovers with other Go Nagai creations (Mazinger, Getter Robo, Cutie Honey, etc.) and even a crossover with Cyborg 009.
Took some inspiration from a Devilman mugen character someone made for a fighting game project called "Dynamic Super Robot Wars " (why Devilman is apart of it, I dunno, outside of his history with Mazinger I suppose). The creator, brucewayne74, clearly used Street Fighter 3's Urien as a base.
So I took that tall bastard and made my own take on the Devilman, also used the wings of 'Devil Daigo' from 'Big Bang Beat '.

Awesome work, man! I'm actually watching the Cyborg 009/Devilman crossovers we speak! Pretty good so far. I had no idea there was a crossover with Cutie Honey though, so that's definitely news to me!

i think it was primarily a manga one. There's alot of overlap with the Go Nagai stuff.

Great job! See you went with the original anime version of the character, not a bad choice, he certainly got to fight lots of monsters of every shape and size imaginable back in the day lol. Devilman rocks, which is your favorite version of him?
P.S. you should do his female counterpart Devil Lady next, her anime was AWESOME

while i went with the original, kinda prefer the stuff from the 80's onward, design-wise.
the 009 crossover design looks pretty awesome though
