I revamped this OC swtazngal.deviantart.com/art/S… I loved this sketch so much that I had an urge to scan it in and color it.

I was also pretty down and sad up until halfway through coloring, so this was also a great piece for stress relief

As you might tell: this is a very rushed color. I am not a true artist because of my impatience and inability to ever complete a piece within a certain time frame. The bird, for instance, was gonna be a really epic combination of a picture of a sunbird I googled, and the Fenghuang--i.e. the Chinese phoenix. BAHAHHHH. Yeah. I ended up getting lazy with the bird, realized 2/3rds of the way that my laziness made it look ugly and then erased half the bird and then realized the bird was never gonna get any prettier anyway so I ended up half assing it either way. ....Still looks happy though

On a better note, I am in love with this character. Maybe 'cause I'm on a Naruto craze and ideas are flowing into my head for this particular character's story, or maybe because there's just so much fun stuff going on with her that I just wanna write and make comics and stuff! But that won't be happening. For a really, really long time. But when I finished this sketch, I inked it and I felt at peace. Maybe because I wanna take my own mind off somewhere to a place where I can play and pet with animals for a therapeutic session, but this is close enough. It's nice to see characters just relax and let lose. I wish I could do that LOL.

But anywho, as per usual I ramble a lot, so enjoy
