Description Rayman will always be one of my favorites. I like Rayman more than Sonic, although looking through my gallery you wouldn’t know it.

This piece has about 40 layers and took around seven hours to do in all (probably more, but I refuse to look at the clock while I work). I haven’t done this style of coloring in a very long time, using two slightly different hues on top of each other and utilizing the select tool in order to shade. Also I didn’t digitize my line art. The last time was probably a year ago, when I attempted this style. I usually do the line art, because I love the look of lines on a cartoon character in a finished piece, but I made an exception for Rayman. He looks better without lines.

Rayman does not belong to me, but the art does. I love you Ubisoft!

It is AWESOME! I beat the Wii version of the game and the art is amazing in that game. It's also very challenging too.

I'd place Rayman Origins among some of my favorite platformers this gen (with Donkey Kong Country Returns, Sonic Colors, and Super Mario Galaxy 1).

I personally like Sonic more but that doesn't mean Rayman is bad. Rayman is still a great video game character, back then and today.

I usually draw Sonic, but that's only because he's easier for me to draw than Rayman. They are both fun video game characters, but if I had to pick . . . I think I personally enjoyed Rayman more.
