This is a contest prize for who won first place in the #FanArtIntegrityClub He wanted a picture of Sally and Sonic fighting a gang of heartless using their special keyblades based on the Sword of Acorns and Caliburn. This was a fun challenge, and I apologize for it taking so long.Sonic and Sally belong to Sonic team and Archie

Very nice scene. You gotta love seeing tough-as-nails heroes standing back-to-back as they take on a giant mob, especially when they're wielding custom-designed Keyblades. You did a nice job combining the Kingdom Hearts elements with Sonic and Sally; the outfits feel like they're straight out of the KH games and the Keyblades, again, feel custom-fitted to their wielders.
You also did very well with the "mob surrounding heroes" scene. Everyone's poses and the camera angle are very nice. I'm not sure why the Heartless are glowing yellow, but it looks nice.

Thank you so much! Gojira007, the person I drew this for, gave me quite the challenge and I really wanted to take advantage of the idea. Considering my meek abilities as an artist I am glad it accomplishes the feelings I was going for. For example, the surrounded, aspect. The costumes and key designs were a lot of fun to design, but it helped that Gojira007 gave me the focus of using Sword of Acorns and Caliburn for the designs.
The heartless are glowing yellow as a lighting effect. That and it just helps it 'pop' out from the background.

OK. This? This is just plain fukking AWESOME. The composition's sweet, the color and lighting are gorgeous, the pose and character for our main dup is excellent, and I love what you've done with the Keyblade designs! They complement each other so well, just like Sonic 'n' Sally do with that great sense of balance between 'em. The KH costumes are pretty sweet too, though I admit I found Sonic's shoulder pad a little awkwardly placed. That's a quibble at best, though, because otherwise this Made of Win picture is SUPER MADE OF WIN WITH A SIDE OF AWESOMESAUCE WITH SUPER COOL CHERRIES ON TOP.

Your welcome, and THANK YOU! I'm glad you like the details and took notice of them, especially the keyblades. The shoulder pad on Sonic actually isn't a shoulder pad XD it's the collar of his shirt. But I agree it does look a little awkward, especially now that Sonic and Sally are smaller. When I originally worked on them they were the size of this piece. Couldn't fit the Heartless in.

Yeah, I actually realized after I made the comment what the "ShoulderPad" actually was, but by then it was too late. l3; Nonetheless, glad I was right about the complimentary keyblades, and I'm glad I made you feel so good as an Artist. ^_^
As for a title...how about "Our Hearts, A Battleground"? It accurately describes the situation they're in, AND it's a good description of the push and pull of the SonSal relationship, AND it's a reference to the lyrics of "Sanctuary" from KH2.
