Copics are my love, but I'm not a diva about them. Right now I have a nice mix of prismas, copics, sharpies and a couple trias. :3

After meeting my uncle's dog, I have a special spot for German Shepherds 
Therefore I really like this, I love the texture on the dark fur on the "generic" shepherd, is that in pencil? The white lineart on the black dog is a nice touch, too : D
I really love that picture with the two of them together, it's really sweet, and they almost, almost form a heart shape... awwww.

White Shepherds are a separate breed. the German Shepherd Dog standard does not allow the colour. I could technically make a White Shepherd sheet that would be PURELY white ones.
In any case, there really wasn't any need to imply that I was shunning your dog the way that you did. I think it's rather rude.

Well sorry, but I can't tell whether you're poking fun or not since I don't know you. It's a good idea if you're leaving a comment like that on a stranger's art to make it absolutely clear that you're just joking, otherwise you might be misunderstood as you were by me. It's easy to misread things over the internet. also, I work hard on my art regardless of subject matter, and I like the effort to be acknowledged. I do the same for anybody else that I comment on.
The reason they outlawed the colour was probably something to do with their original function, i.e. sheep herding. Maybe they didn't want a dog that was virtually the same colour as the sheep. C:

The White Shepherd is a direct descendent of the German Shepherd Dog. The White Shepherd was recognized by the UKC in 1999 and the F.C.I. recognized the breed as the "Berger Blanc Suisse" in 2002. The colour white in German Shepherd Dogs was one of the original colours found in the breed. The developer of the breed, Max Von Stephanitz, owned several White German Shepherd Dogs and one of the first GSDs imported into the United States carried the gene that produces the white coat colour. In 1968, the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA) made the colour white a disqualification in the German Shepherd Dog Breed Standard. After the GSDCA and the German Sieger Verein disqualified the colour, many countries followed their lead, including Canada.
Today, the White German Shepherd Dog is still recognized and registered as a German Shepherd Dog under the AKC and the CKC. However, because the colour white is a disqualification, they are no longer eligible to be shown in the conformation ring. Because of this and because many German Shepherd Dog breeders will not breed to the white dogs, White Shepherd clubs in North America have been pursuing the goal of breed separation, in hopes of attaining the proper recognition that these dogs deserve. Through careful study of the breed worldwide, it has been determined that there is a sufficient gene pool to support a separate breed.

I wasn't offended so much as taken aback, because I was afraid I had somehow alienated you, and I didn't quite think that was fair. Some people can exaggerate and be perfectly serious, and I tend to take most of what I read online at face value unless I know the person. I apologise.
