I just saw the movie Newsies today.Β I don't remember a scene like this though.

this is based off the stage show!! the movie and stage show are different. In the stage show, there's a character named Katherine (that's who judy is in these drawings) who is the person who writes the article on the newsies. Katherine is jack's love interest, instead of Sarah in the movie. The second drawing is dialogue from the song "I Never Planned on You/Don't Come a-Knocking" and the comic thingy is from the song "Something to Believe in". I hope that clears things up a little!
