I don't know guys... I've been listening to mlp songs (mainly Luna ones) and I got inspired... On another note, have you guys seen the animatics for next season? So freaking excited!!!

I know right? The villians are always my favorites, but I especially love the story behind Nightmare Moon and Luna. It is so well developed.

Well, it has it´s good and bad points. The bad ones are that he was a great villain, maybe the worst the mane six had ever had to face. I´m going to miss him doing evil. But some of the goods points are that now we´ll see him more often, not just in special occasions. Being good doesn´t mean that he can´t make pranks. And I thing that making him a lonely being makes the character more interesting. I mean, a creature living an immortal life alone... that´s explain why he was so bad. That´s just my opinion.

That's a good way to see it. I just didn't like the end of the episode how he suddenly thought friendship was important. I just would have liked to see more development there.

Yeah, developing a good story takes time, time that I guess they couldn´t afford. A chapter split in two would have been the best option, and I apply the same to Magical Mystery Cure.

I especially like the glow from Luna's eyes, and her mane is well done. But allow me to nerdrage a little here...1. eclipse at night? 2. If it is not night, then the eclipse would not affect the whole sky (the sun doesn't exactlly just vanish) 3. an eclipse that low to the horizon?
That's all nitpicking though, you really are improving.
Advice: Don't put in so much background, focus more on the foreground (Luna) because right now it looks like the center is off, and it is a little confusing to the eyes. Also, try to make the colors you chose match (or at least be similar to) the color palette of Luna. It would look a whole lot nicer.
Though, I don't see much that is wrong with the actually drawing aspect (you draw ponies a whole lot better than I do) it's just the nitpicky appearance things that stand out to me.
I say all this because I love you, and because it is so good, I feel that I must pick out what you need to do to make it better.
