Love the shot but the story behind it is better. We seem to forget (in the States) that the same cars are marketed in other countries and the dies are later sold.

I was looking in a book and some American cars that are (about 10 years old) are in production is some other countries. New to them and old to us.....great capture and history!

RedChevelle [2009-10-05 01:41:31 +0000 UTC]

It reminds me of a Chevelle, but it's a split-grille, so a Pontiac, so... Le Mans?

Perceptor [2009-10-05 01:34:37 +0000 UTC]

It is a Pontiac LeMans. I can see the insignia on the grill. Basically it is the Pontiac version of the Chevy Malibu or Chevelle.

Nice, I am very very suprised to see a Beaumont in your neck of the woods!

I like these a hell of a lot more then the Chevelles they are based off of, they have a much nicer look in my mind!

Thanks for the link Paul!

68 Chevelle with a Pontiac Bonneville or Lemans/GTO/Tempest grill added somehow.

396 Ratt, 4 speed Muncie Rock Crusher, Positrac, dual exhaust, and a Pioneer CD player with a melty snickers in the glove box?
