FAQ - Commission Info -OMG finally done! This has given me so much trouble ._.
This took almost 6 hours of continuous working (minus a 20 minute tea break). Sculpting different parts aren't too hard, but putting them together is a nightmare. I keep breaking bulbasaur's vines when putting them to bulbasaur's body... and I really underestimate how hard it is to put things in a bottle with 1.5cm diameter opening x_x
Anyway, just so glad everythings done!
Everything is sculpted with Sculpey polymer clay, apart from the bottle which I bought from a shop. The bottle has an outer diameter of 3cm and bulbasaur is about 1cm tall.
And yes, this is base on a drawing by =oi-m
She turned one of my sculpture work [link] into a drawing [link] , now it's time for me to return the favor xP

Actually, I used oven hardening clay, so I made the vines separately from the main body. I baked the vines first, then put them into the main body (that hasn't been baked yet) so that they can stay up :3

wow, that is so tiny and awesome and clean. great clay work! great patience keeping at it! i want to try things like this, but it's pretty tiny, even for me.

Question for you, i bought some of those bottles ages ago to do things like this but i wasnt sure how doing the base inside the bottle, can the bottles go in the oven a few minutes or do you use air dry clay?

I used oven hardening clay. It's okay to put the bottles in the oven (minus the cap), as long as your bottle is the same as mine (which is glass)

I LOVE IT. Surgically put it inside my heart and leave it there forever! Until it kills me which would be pretty instant but worth it because of it's cuteness!!!!!
