The original Rival Schools is probably my favorite 3D fighter with its colorful cast, flashy moves, and it being the first fighting game I ever played that had an expansive story mode.Β I even bought the sequel Project Justice on the Dreamcast when it came out and GEEZ has that game gone up in price after two decades!
Capcom was really interested in expanding other series in the late 90's with other series.Β They even did a sci-fi fighting game called Star Gladiator.Β The ps1 game is pretty janky but the sequel also on the Dreamcast is pretty solid.Β The designs are fantastic.Β I really wish more people were familiar with it as they are with Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, and Power Stone.
