Oh, yes! The famous "Kilroy"
Reminds me of the final scene in "Kelly's Heroes" after Kelly (Clint Eastwood) and his men have plundered the German gold in the bank and have left before the triumphal entry of General Colt. Their lieutenant who was General Colt's nephew (and was totally unconcerned for the welfare of his men), walks into the bank, sees all the empty gold bar crates on the floor, and written on the wall of the bank is "Kilroy Was Here".
A great little WW2 war movie, with all the 1970s hippie references such as Donald Sutherland as "Oddball" and an anti-war theme.
