this is what a mixed martial arts fighter looks like.i just wanted to try shots with a harsh lighting. he looks like a swastika tattoo would fit on the upper chest perfectly so i considered manipulating one, showing just half of it or enough to give the idea, that would've given ppl a little something to go nuts about. u know, some ppl may have it too boring on a wednesday evening, and as we know something like that logo would reaaally spice things up... but then i decided to stick with the truth.
he is Sebastian, and the photo was taken...ages ago.

Hmmm, this is a good shot. The lighting has a traditional feel to it, mimicking the introduction clips before a televised fight.

the harsh light creates some nice shadows especially around the collar bones. i like the blue/purple lighting. gives a cold feel to the image that's belied by his soft calm expression. nice stubble too. and i don't like facial hair, so that's saying something.
if you'd used a swastika it would have made me smile.

The face of someone who knows how to break you. It's interesting, of all the guys I train with, I don't think there is a single one who can't pull this look off. But when they pull it, it's usually followed by a grin, and then they take me out.

I could tell it wasn't; there is something else showing in those eyes. But the lighting really accentuates his features.

Wow, very powerful photo. The harsh lighting works well....that stare in his eyes....
One thing that kinda bugs me is that line on his neck, in between the background and the shadow on his neck. It's a bit distracting, but the lighting is VERY cool

The lighting is fantastic, you've really become flawless with your different techniques. The shadows are great too.. they really help bring out depth and that intensity in his eyes. Well done...
