fuuuu what a nightmare!I think the controller alone took me 8 hours
May is the month of my Birthday so I made this one a bit personal, this image includes the stuff I love. Can you guys name em?

I`m in awe with your ability to see and render all those textures. The difference between black plastic and rubber on the worn controller. That cloth. That metallic can and its lid. The wrappings in different kinds of plastic. The lollypop. The CD. The floor. Epic skills!Β
And it was posted more than two years ago. By now I you must have "leveled up" so much you must be creating life from scratch, LOL. Like if you drew Michelangelo`s Moses and said "Parla!" at him, this time he might actually answer.Β

Thanks so much. It all comes down to training your observation skills and learning how to sketch/see the big shapes first before going into detail.Β
You sort fo have to split it all up in your head in different factions, 1 for dark and light, one for color, one for shape, one for material.

This painting is so good I still can't comprehend it's a painting. This is the most amazing painting I have ever personally seen. NEVER doubt youself in your skills. You are absolutely mind blowing.

How many layers did you use for this? And do you use smudging a lot?

No smudging. And the layers don't really matter. I make new ones and then I merge them when I am happy.

Yeah smudging actually takes out the fun in digital painting
I normally use one or two layers, one for base color and the other to draw on to. of the lineart. It's a little sketchy and messy but I love it that way

Well... This is one of those moments when basically two thing come in my mind: "Oh f*ck I should never draw again in my life. I will never be able to paint things like this" or: "God damn! From now I will draw at least two hours a day until I reach this level"
