Oof, my poor boy done hurt himself. I honestly doubt zombie Jason even bleeds much, but because of stylistic reasons, here he does. Anybody who would've managed to land any hits on him would definitely look a lot worse though. It has to be Jason Lives, while being super corny it knows what it is and has fun with the concept. Besides, the movie gave us zombie Jason! Speaking of zombie Jason, my fave version of him is probably the one in New Blood. The undead look with the exposed spine and all are great, it's such a shame they censored pretty much all the kill scenes in that movie.

While I love Jason Lives, my fav has got to be The Final Chapter. Design wise? Definitely Part 7 or Part 9 and yeah, the MPAA was and still is a monster for slasher films. I mean look at TCM 3

Whoever shot him in the back is a coward with no honour! Good precision though, 4 arrows hitting almost exactly same point on his back. Jason's blade is clean as you have mentioned so right now he is probably on the hunt, tracking his attacker, thinking how to chop his arms and legs off in a most painful way. Soon, very soon, almost there...
And going back to the subject of masks/covers hiding true face of someone... Looking at this picture I thought of Schrödinger's mask: until you take it off, the face behind the mask could be beautiful or hideous at the same time. So, it's quite possible that in reality Jason from this picture is a quite handsome guy. Plus he's tall and strong, athletic - could be a very popular with girls if only he could control his social anxiety a little bit more. What a loss.

I'm not on Twitter so usually I don't pay attention to Twitter links but this time I couldn't help my curiosity. And it was worth it, holy moly, it was worth it!
Jason's medallion is so damn cool! Fits perfectly to the Schrodinger's cat/theme. Dude is handsome and ugly at the same time, until you open the medallion. And because I know you are not a stranger in the land of anime, you probably won't be so surprised if I say that face of handsome Jason reminds me of Aang (Avatar: the Last Airbender) and an ugly Jason looks like a younger brother of one of the titans from Attack on Titan. What a change! From a saint to a flesh eating, head splitting, murderous monster!
I love when images tell stories, like yours do. They are a real feast to my eyes and imagination and on DA I'm hungry all the time. Thank you!
