Name: Maritase "Mari" Conelica

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Species: Fox...supposedly. He's not too sure, himself, but he thinks it has something to do with his home town's obsession with foxes as a deity. He does remember growing fond of the animal. However, the strange fur pattern he has doesn't really make sense to him, but fox is his first guess.

Sexual Orientation: Bisexual

Personality:
-He's open, social, and sweet, somewhat generous. However he's not to be pushed around and will step out of line when something is wrong or the need calls.
-When people want to do things by themselves, he will normally let things happen unless he feels that it won't end well. Of course, that isn't to say he won't lend a hand...(unless he's tired).
-Although he's sweet, he does have a bit of a perverted side that doesn't show often. Though most people he's been around tend not to mind. (Probably not the case with everyone else he hasn't met)
-Enjoys cooking for others...provided they like his food.
-Loves to hear people's stories and pasts and is always open to coversation (except when he's getting beaten around by a random monster)
-Also loves to kick back by the water (if he can find it)
-He's really curious and is often lost in thought when he's doing something trivial or nothing at all.

Description: His hair curls (or I should say waves) out very slightly as it goes down, in otherwords it's not perfectly straight. He has a n orange diamond shape mark on his right arm that has an orange dot in the middle. His fur is dark on the area above his nose, his ears, and the tip of his tail (including the stripe there too). He carries a small pouch attached to a belt. It was used to hold things like his money, cellphone, and etc; but upon entering this new world, all of it disappeared.

Past Life: In his past life, he was often the go-to guy if you wanted to talk about something. He was willing to talk with people, and his friends and family made him well known. However, it wasn't really a good thing. His family used him for financial advantages by doing people favors all the time. Considering he unwillingly had to deal with certain situations, including family matters, 2 different ex's (one boy, one girl), general getting out of the house and moving on stuff, and much requests from the town since he was seen as the town's "Handyman" (thanks to his parent's, unfortunately), it's surprising that he still remained sweet. With a few of his best friends, he decided to leave home (and all his hidden frustrations behind) about 5 months after graduating from his town's high school and head on to college to pursue a career in Culinary Arts.
Of course, in the next 7 months after, instead of actually going straight to college, he spent a good deal of time traveling and sightseeing, having lots of parties. Once he turned 19, he decided it was time for college. For REAL this time. As fate would have it, just one phone call to his parent's house lead to an endless slew of calls to his phone, with people asking for his help, ex's bothering him, family bringing up problems; it was all too much for him to have to deal with considering how deep his studies required him to be. He couldn't bear any more responsibilities and ultimately cut his phone line to avoid communication with people from his home town.
About a week after doing this, he was killed by someone in his college who had it out for him. He wasn't sure why this person did it, just that they had something against him that they couldn't stand. The voice of the person who did it was one of his friends...but he began to white out before he could put a name to a voice or see who had even done it.

Struggles: The biggest struggle he has is figuring out which of his friends killed him. The other struggle is a some guilt coming back to him from cutting off his life in his home town from his life outside.
