those are rasterized layers from illustrator, then shaded in photoshop.. i like doing that a lot..

i dont understand all of that .. how do you do the fading with shades, i thought they can only have 1 color ..

when you rasterize them you can paint on them or you can use them as layer masks too..

What I like particularly is how her hair and eyebrows are treated... how the light falls on them.
