Meet Lady the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
She's a gift for my best mate, Sine. She is such a sweet girl, so she deserves to get something just as sweet for her birthday ^_^ I'm very, very sorry for the bad quality of this, but my scanner desided to call it a day way too early...(!) That's why it looks a bit, uhm... off
Don't know what else to call it.I think that I did a pretty good job, and hopefully you can still see that + that Lady is a very sweet dog

this piece is really, really good
the texture of the fur is wonderfully subtle
and the perspective is really unique
the only problems are the eyes and the nose (sorry for criticism T-T)
either the shape or the surrounding shading is making the left eye look more forward
while the right eye looks to the side
the nose doesn't have much problem. it just could use a bit more texture in the middle. although that would be a bit hard to do...
overall, the picture is amazing especially because of the level detail of the fur

Don't be sorry - you only get better by getting criticism. And when it's good and useful like yours, well.. then I'm very happy
And the reason that the nose is missing a bit of texture is actually quite simpel. First, I blame my sccanner, and then myself for using charcoal on the nostrils to make them darker (and then forget to use it on the rest of the nose). Woops...
But I'm glad you like it. I had a hard time on the texture and I'm very happy with the way it came out ^:^ Thanks mate
