Description
An Australian Mark-8 Jaeger, designed for stealth, mobility, and precision at the cost of armor. This uses an ultra-light frame, similar to Saber Athena, but heavily modified to support the use of a lance. Shadow Javelin is the first Jaeger to use stealth technology to conceal itself and move quietly by generating a noise-cancelling field. It's highly experimental armor can reflect the surrounding environment and temporarily turn invisible.
This machine relies on surprise and mobility to dodge attacks and deal a massive amount of damage by striking the vitals of Kaiju with precise thrusts. The added thruster on the back increases movement speed and its overall effectiveness with the harpoon lance.

This Jaeger is equipped with an Explosive Harpoon Lance, capable of penetrating thick armor with its plasma infused blades. Inspired by the harpoons used to kill whales, a barrage of grenades can be detonated upon penetration, throwing shrapnel at high velocities to deal heavy internal damage to Kaiju. It can also be used like a traditional axe in close quarters, with it's oversized blades. The lance can also be launched like a grappling hook to pull objects closer like smaller Kaiju, or be used to pin down larger Kaiju.

Shadow Javelin is equipped with smoke grenades, to aid in concealment and comes with electromagnetically powered plasma infused boomerangs, hidden within the torso. They are used for longer range engagements and return via the same magnets used to fire. Additionally, she is equipped with sharp claws for close quarters, which can be used to tear away armor or vital organs as a last resort.

Inspired by the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter Jet, Gipsy Avenger and Saber Athena, I designed this Jaeger to be fast, and effective at close quarters. Initially inspired by Aboriginal weapons, such as spears and boomerangs, I wanted this Jaeger to feel both unique and at home with the Jaegers of Pacific Rim Uprising. I paid homage to Striker Eureka, with the chest and conn-pod exterior design. I also wanted to make this look menacing, without massive shoulders/torsos like most Jaegers.

The background is located in Melbourne, which is the city I live in. Melbourne is somewhat close the the ocean which works well in the Pacific Rim universe.
