Description This was one of my first attempts at anything in Illustrator. It was early in the year. I think it is well done for the experience I had, but looking back I can see things I could have fixed.

Such a cool character. I'm having a laugh attack thinking about his "You Know What?" sketch!

Just thinking about Brak makes me laugh...
Brak- "Heeeyyyy Space Ghost... you know what?"
Space Ghost- "What?"
Brak- "That's What!" *laughs*
*beat*
Brak- "Space Ghost? You know what? *stifles laughter* Nooo, seriously, you know what?"
Space Ghost -"What?"
Brak- "That's What?"
Space Ghost- "Brak, if you don't stop doing that, whatever it is you're doing, I'm going going to blast Zorak."
etc.

Geez, it's been years since I've heard that sketch and I still nearly have it memorized. Sorry to fill a comment with it, but couldn't help myself. I'll have to try and find some version of Cartoon Planet now... didn't like Coast to Coast as much but it had it's moments.

As to the picture, it's pretty much how I remember Brak right down to the silly dance.

I have both [link] and [link] I'm steeped in the history of Space Ghost. Following him from his humble beginnings in Cartoon Planet to SGC2C, up to his [adult swim] run. Yeah, Space Ghost is probably the best superhero ever. Also the best talk show host ever.

Ah yes Brak. I couldn't think of a better character to make a vector out of!

Gah! Those links are great, which means I'll have to be buying the sets soon. I've heard a few of the songs but it never hurts to reacquaint yourself with the classics. I also saw that they have no plans of bringing Cartoon Planet to DVD while C2C IS available in at least three seasons. I think one of the things that make me like Cartoon Planet slightly better is that C2C had an interview with Hanson... I don't THINK I had nightmares but you just shouldn't mix Space Ghost with boy bands. And speaking of SG being a superhero, he actually has some comic books from DC, which seems odd to go from animation to paper. Anyhow, thanks for the links.
