I see that Backgrounds is not your thing man. I think that however actually having done that table where she is supporting herselve would have been of great help. IM not good in bg neither and I think something like that box I did on the Gina post card would have been something to use here. something simple, but thats my POV

I have to say, a verrry playful Miss Hoover...not quite how we use to see her in the show.
Regarding that one can say that next to a pin-up, she's almost is a parody of herself.
A very nice pose which definitely does the trick with that big bad smile on her face.
The thing which captures my eye is the fluent twist of the lower spine and the hips, as well how you managed to give the lower abdomen and hips volume through her clothes....very well done indeed!
Perhaps a little point of critique might be the neck, it seems a tad too long or to heavy in relation to the size of her head; as well I think her head is just a bit too small compared to the size of her body.
Possibly her shorter hair at the back puts a bit more emphasis on this; the canonic design has slightly longer hair which blends head, neck and shoulders more together.
Nevertheless you once more managed to do a great, and above all very original, pic.
Perhaps an idea to turn the heater on, the next time one of these yellow ladies is posing for you....a certain uh...detail...shows me it's kinda cold

Thanks. Sometimes a design has to be modified to make it better or make it read. I needed more negative space below the hair and between the shoulders to make the head read. This is to avoid tangents and extremely small/sharp negative shapes which call attention to themselves and destroy depth. Also, I think if you compare the head to the size of the hips, you'll see it is quite large.
If I did change anything, it would be the thickness of the neck and also handle the shading between the cylinder of the neck and the collarbones better, as well as put some shadow beneath the lapels of her collar. The buttons on her shirt look awkward to me, too... but you get to that point where you just need to move on.
That said, art is never perfect, it is always a process.

I definitely agree on that, art is something which never can be perfect as it always will have a subjective component in it.
Add the fact anatomy, pose and composition are one of the most difficult things to do; especially when you involve your own style in combination with a crossover between cartoon and realsim.
So yeah, one has to make choices when it comes to that as well the fact it's something we do as a leisure activity.
I know all too well when you`re working on a pic and at a certain point you just want to finish it to move on, as well I know when you`re working on something you tend to get a certain blindness for the more subtle details.
In the purple sin we often show our work in progress to each other to have a pair of extra (fresh) eyes and to get an opinion and suggestions from a different pov.
Please don't see my comments as an attack on your work, but as a well meant critique of a fellow yellow artist

It must be tough for the boys in her class to concentrate with her skirt so thin that you can see the seams of her pantyhose. (And that blouse!) She is quite a hot woman, and even lovelier with that big eager smile. Sunglasses are a nice touch, giving her a bit of flair on top of everything else.
