My entry for the My Pixel Winter Contest . You had to create a christmas or winter themed pixel art with less than 20 base colours.After thinking it through I decided to go for something rather plain without too many colours and stuff. So here it is. A fantasy creature I entitled the winter spirit.
15 different colours, most of them shades of blue.

Those blue colours look amazing and I really like how you did the trees.
You are very good with shadows. You can even see the shadows of the trees behind the spirit. And the shadows on the fur and ground look really nice.
It's good you only put the colour blue in it (and red for the eyes). It is not too exaggerate and not too simple, it's just good.
I see you want to enter a contest with this one, and I think you'll have a good chance!

I wasn't that sure if one base colour would work well, but after all I think it actually turned out better than I'd expected it to.

this is inspiring. it's amazing what all you can do with a limited pallet for pixel art. it's one of my favorite mediums. this is beautiful and i love the glow-like effect this has on it!

This is absolutely stunning!
It's amazing how you've created such detail out of shades of blue, the floor is very nicely done and the fur shading on the winter spirit creature looks so realistic and fluffy
