Some of you remember me doing the 2 pics of these two diving around. Felt like doing a remake of them, as I quite like those pics. So, I put them together and tried to make them look more furry-like. Hope you like it :3 .
As for why two gals from sci-fi world use old-school dive gear? Cheese :3 . ^3^

Spacesuit Purrloin: *sl* Just 2 or 3 years ago, this spaceship was used to be some kind of fleet. That is until it splash landed into the Earth's ocean that we are in right now. Before that, everybody including the entire crew evacuated by using escape pods.

They may use "old-school dive gear" because pressured air is more reliable than chemical-based rebreather and even cheaper than "nano-gills", which must be a "top secret" for some low-technological but militaristic planets.

Indeed. Chemicals need to be in proper mix and expensive, and any mechanical machinery is vulnerable to EMP and distruptor tech. And maybe there's a retro diving clubs or such ^^ . Old tricks are sometimes better than pack full of new ones :3 .

If sea is not very deep - like 5-15 meters, rebreather gear is not so advanced against ordinary scuba gear - which can provide up to 90 minutes at 5 meters depth. So, for recreation plunge this time may be enough.

So, for instant dinner she need LAMA helmet and some feeding system for sucking or even some "food-pills" dozing. Also - id this is alien sea - you may nt know - what fishes are eatable - just penguins, seals or whales can eat something alive in underwater (totally in water environment), as I imagine)

Oh no no no. Just free access to free sushi dinner >:3 . Reg goess of mouth easy and is easy to be put back in, FFM's are a pain with the straps, and LAMA helmet....well, sure you get the idea :3 . And I'd guess anthro digestion system's powerfull enough to kill of any parasites.

Really Krystal may have longer muzzle than Miuy and sizes of her helmet must take this into account. Or both helmets (as for Miuy too) must be comfortable for Krystal in general.

As for me - breathing through the mouthpiece is not a matter of the simple. but then suddenly eat something with the taste of pepper-chili - and you will not be able to breathe at all))
Also at once (near 11 years ago) I eat a fish soup and fish bone plucked in depth of my throat on the beginning of my tongue. It was very painful and I had a problems with breathing and speak. One way to be comfortable was to to eject my tongue from my mouth very much. Soon I get my tweezers for soldering and with its help, I pulled out this acute bone from the tongue. That bone I even could not to see through the mouth - just by feeling of touch. So - why I not very like to eat fast an unknown fishes too ))
