I really see what you were trying to do and that was get a baby balooga! Of course it's cute, but also looks rather messy and unfinished around the bubbles and bottom of the animal. The halo looks turned sideways because the perspective isn't right either. You've definitely got the right idea for a children's book illustration or something bright and cute! Don't forget sea atmosphere. Things farther away will appear bluer in comparison, just like with air atmosphere. Your colors appear slighty flat, you could counter this by using a darker color then shifting it to the colder or warmer section on the color wheel. Again, nice work on creating something definitely suited for children! It's very difficult!

This beluga is so cute, and I love this song!! Whenever an animal dies at the vancouver aquarium, I always die a little inside too. Childhood memories.
I like the idea of this, but I feel like the background is rather inconsistent. The clouds looks sharply-edged and unnatural, whereas the bubbles are extremely soft and undefined. The halo also looks a little out of place. Maybe try making it thinner and adding a brighter glow to it would help. All in all, I really like the light and airy mood of this, and this beluga is absolutely adorable.
