Hi guys!!
Hyper Light Drifter is an awesome indie game from Heart Machine and it's really, really good!! Very aesthetically pleasing, with beautiful, colorful visuals and a great soundtrack, and also has a very abstract and poignant story. It's a little on the short side, but it's super fun and I highly recommend it!! It's on Steam for like 20 dollars.

There's also a lot of great fanart popping up in the game's wake. However, I don't see any dealing with the implications of the co-op mode. I feel like there's something very deliberate in the 2nd player character's design.

Anybody who's played the game, what do you think? If you've played it co-op, what do you think the 2nd player is? A shadow?
If you haven't played it, please!! Go give it a shot, it's a lovely (if almost Dark-Souls-difficult) game!

haha i forgot to talk about the process of this piece, i was so busy gushing about the game! this was super fun, and a great way to think abt color. I wanna practice more with HLD!
I was also way more successful doing a lineless, non-painted style than i thought i would be. definitely a challenge though!
