One of my friends told me to draw Shego and Drakken picking out a puppy. AND I JUST REALLY WANTED TO DRAW COMMODORE PUDDLES.

In Kimitation Nation, they first show Commodore Puddles, and he's white! Then when he gets enlarged, he's pink! Cartoon logic. XD Either way, so adorable!

The dialogue in the description makes the picture sad to me. Totally tinted my view. Now instead of being silly it's more pained, like Drakken's reaction in the fanart is because he doesn't understand why Puddles is so happy to see him and is trying to put on a stoic mad science-y face while he processes why anything would feel joy when it comes to him. Curious.

Yes, I always think of Drakken as kind of a tragicomic character. He's hilarious, but he has so many insecurities that it's kind of sad. Even on the show, you always end up laughing at his neediness, but you know that his giant ego is really just a front and that he's really just trying to prove to everyone that he's worth paying attention to.
