This is wonderful art i'm speachless i have bad english by the way VSDsjdvvsvjs The detail is very well put together i would not be able to do this on my lap top it is one of the best arts i have seen on Deviant art you should add a falcon flying in the sky ( if you want ) i think it would be a nice little touch to this awesome art 100,000 out of 5 stars on detail no art is ever the same so this is original in its own way i love it great job _ w33kday out!:3

First of all, I have to say, this piece is absolutely amazing. Your choice of colour for the dragon fits so well with the background, and the dull colours are actually somewhat realistic. A brightly-coloured dragon would stand out too much and be at a natural disadvantage, but this? I love it.
While I would've liked to see less empty space at the top, perhaps some subtle clouds, the blank space does draws attention to the extraordinary detail in the lower half. Six hours? I could never achieve anything as amazing if I spent my whole life trying.
The person in the foreground is actually quite nicely detailed for their small size, and there isn't much attention drawn to them, but it adds that nice, fantasy touch that this piece needed. My favourite part of this piece might be the scratchy texture of the rocks, which I just can't help but adore, and the texture of the dragon. That feathery feel is consistent throughout the creature, and it just ties it together.
However, realistically a bird's wings wouldn't have its primary feathers so thick or spread so far apart. It could've added to the piece if we saw some wear on the dragon, to signify its age, or to be a reason for its proud, regal stance, but I still can barely believe that people can create artwork like this so beautifully.

I've always been a fan of your art, and the dragon is absoutely stunning!! You must have spent a lot of time on the background and you have successfully established the size difference between dragon and human. However, it would be better if the wing anatomy and feather arrangement could achieve better realism. Also, I would think that giving the eye of the dragon more contrast against the darker hues of it's (fur, feathers?) to draw the observer's attention to the dragon before analyzing the rest, maybe a glint or maybe a dragged out brilliance from the eye could even give it a more ferocious look. But above all, Great job!! Keep it up, if i were a game designer i would recruit you for sure!

As soon as I saw this piece in my Watches section, I fell in love with the piece.
In fact, one of the first things I noticed with this is where the focus is; the dragon. The focal point, from how I see it, is centered around the dragon and its incredible wingspan in comparison to its body already; but then you glance down and see the person. Then you get a feeling of how massive the creature actually is. I've noticed in your other works you've done similar things as well with perspective like this, and I just need to say that it's wonderful! It's one of my favorite perspective themes.
The colors are also amazing. It has the right amount of color contrast and shading where needed and you can really get a feel for the scenery that way. I love how the pallet is harmonious with, but no color is overly focused on so that nothing is over or under powered. The balance is perfect. The background is a bit bright, but that's not a bad thing, as it brings the focus up front where it needs to be; but you also didn't miss detailing the background as well, which is great!
You have a great attention to detail, and it seems like its well thought out. You can see every feather on the dragon individually. Even on the person the detail on the outfit and staff is incredible.
Another thing that I really like is the art style itself. I know you had said it took six hours, and I have to say that's incredible! I just feel like with that amount of time, you executed the painting incredibly well, especially with the technique you used. I actually had a difficult time trying to determine whether or not it actually was on a canvas. It's a unique style, and I'm glad you chose it, especially for this piece because it works so well.

I LOVE the dragon, but to be entirely honest, the surrounding landscape just takes me away. The way the feathers of the dragon just fits in with the rocky, almost Irish, moors, blows me away. This is easily one of my favorite works of yours. Outstanding job!

I love the strokes of your drawing. It leads the viewers eyes up towards the dragon whether you intended it or not
The characters staff brings me back to dragon age so I like how it looks as well.
I think the best part of this whole drawing was the fact that the background is so breathtaking.
