There was an early morning fog over the Valley of Mounts, where deer and the odd horse would graze to catch the liquid that would layer the grasses. It was especially dewy that morning when Rikarðr made his way through the valley, especially the rain that had fallen the day before. It was nice, seeing that other equines were occupying the valley - since it had been a while since he had seen a proper equine. Within the valleys creases, he could see two mares who seemed rather busy like everyone else; getting their thirst filled by the dew on the grasses. If one were to look at him, he'd nod in greeting but if not, he'd pass by quietly.

He knew that if he were to return home to clear his name, he'd have to start from the bottom. As a no one; 'a weakling' his father would say. Rikarðr knew he wasn't weak, he was strong. But he needed to be stronger - to be surrounded by people he cared about but also, physically show he was not willing to back down. But who wanted to be around him right? He was sure that he could easily scare away a small foal, or even a giant bear. Rikarðr knew it was going to be a long road before he'd reached what he believed was his full potential. But he was willing to try.
