I think I'm finally out of my TF art block. I apologize for being quiet for so long, but I think I've got plenty of stuff coming if my work just doesn't kill me.This is actually part of the personal challenge where I asked various people to give me random words. Many people gave me sports as words. And here's the first one. There'll be coming many more varying from winter sports into extreme sports and martial arts.
When I was given hurdling I immediately thought of Red Alert running for his live and winning the race for some reason
Who knows if there actually is anyone there out to get him, but it certainly gave Red a good boost Edit. Fixed my fail XD

The lines are really good and I love the colors. I think certain parts of his left side are smaller than his right. Doesn't having to deal with symmetry suck? XP The motion is really cool too with the little red/white blur behind him.
There's one thing that bugs me, but I can't figure it out because I've never attempted hurdles. My sports were swimming and baseball. I miss competitive swimming

What is bugging you is probably the style Red is going over the hurdles. He isn't doing an orthodox hurdling at all, but more of a something an amateur would do.

I didn't think he'd be exactly professional about. It looks like he's gonna trip or lose his balance. Wonder if he'd 'cry'.
Actually, I can't tell if his aft has made it over the bar or not. Since I've only seen shots of hurdles from the side roughly 10 years ago, I have no idea if this is typical. I chalk it up to my own ignorance.

Hurdles actually go over the hurdles legs first and the butt coming over last. But Red Alert is going over the hurdles like an amateur XD
