New River Gorge Bridge in West Virgina. the world's 2nd longest single arch steel .I wanted rust look for the bridge..I kinda of over did it but looks like some really love it and some really hate it.. would love to know your thoughts..

I am amazed by the sense of depth this image gives. Often photos and paintings like this appear flat you've managed to really give the impression of looking a great distance!

o.O at first i thought it was a painting but then i recognized the hdr imaging. X3 very cool. personally i feel it is, like you said, a little overdone, but it still makes a neat piece of art.

Interesting concept of the bridge. I live less then half an hour's drive away from the New River Gorge Bridge, and I must say, the way you've captured it is truly unique. I've immediately recognized the location, but the way in which you rendered it gives it a fantasy/surreal air thats just out of this world. I also like how clearly you can see the old route through the gorge on the opposite side. Even though it still exists and is in use today, the black and white of the trees on the other side makes it look as though the arch spans time as well as distance. Very very well done picture indeed.

Thank you!!! I thinks its an amazing place to be..West Virgina reminds me of Nepal where I was born.. Mountains.. Roads along the side of Shenandoah river.. very beautiful... Life gets so easy and Stress-free when You're there.. love it

I was born and raised in the northern part of the state. ^^ The southern part is far more beautiful in my opinion though. Did you get a chance to go up to Spruce Knob or Dolly Sods? On a clear day, those mountains offer some of the best views in the state. The Midland Trail is also a fun drive, and Hawk's Nest State Park is a great tourist attraction. The Shenandoah River Valley is in Virginia by the way. Only a small part is in West Virginia.

congrats of the DD. We just drove over that bridge last week coming home to Ontario, Canada from Myrtle Beach. We stopped at the lookout and got some awesome pictures.
Everytime we go down thru Beckley and Summersville, we always make sure to allow enough time to stop at this amazing manmade structure and the beautiful view! Thanks for posting such a great picture!
