This one really needs to be viewed full size.I snapped it as I enjoyed a little stroll with my son, along our favorite stretch of road. You'll have to imagine for yourself what you might find if you went any further along the way. It's our little secret, but I'm sure that whatever you are dreaming of is equally wonderful. By the way, my son also took his photo "Grandeur Of Life" while we walked this road. If you are interested, you can find that photo in my gallery as well.

This is such a fantastic photo, but I almost wish the person on the bike had not been there. There is such an ethereal quality in some places and the magic is there for all, but few could capture the moment with such grace. The trees almost move; one can feel the energy of this place.

I was able to recognize this picture right away by looking at the thumbnails. You were absolutely right, this looks very similar to the picture I took. I love how the shadows show up all over the floor and the person in the pictures adds up to a sort of invitation to this beautiful place.

A symphony of light and shadow played in the branches of the trees and then the echo on the ground.
If I had to sum up the message of your work for me in one word - it would be "serenity".

I wish I could go somewhere like that. There are places back home in PA that are similar, but here in Utah actual trees are few and far between. As I've been noticing you have a great sense of placement. The small tree almost in the middle of the shot being overtowered...and the cyclist as a reference point to realize the size and perspective of it all. Of course, the sepia tone gives it that nostalgic feeling like the one that your son is going to look back on and smile.

The sepia tones is very well used here for the woods and the small bicycle man

I STILL like it And you are 100% right - full view does this beautiful capture justice!! I can only image what it must be like to walk down that beautiful road. I love it when the road is under an umbrella of trees and that special time of the day when the sun is shining through makes it so "warm." We have many roads like that down here - as you do up there
just lined with beautiful banyan trees - those are my favorite roads. I will let my imagination take me down the road above to find my secret

I love the shadow play in this beaufiful capture, the patterns they make, criss-crossing the road, nice how the trees form an umbrella of protection, hiding what is beyond. I love the tones, very classic and the textures, beautiful, Mark. A fave, too.
