...The ultimate tosser (yeah, like that joke hasn't been heard before)Harvey Dent as Two-Face as played by Aaron Eckhart.
I'm not hugely happy with this painting. It looks kind of flat. However I have to post it as it's an example of me not doing yet another Joker painting

I actually really like the sketchy rough texture, especially on the burned half of his face. It works well to represent his character. Looks amazingly lifelike too.

Beautiful and horrible atthe same time. Not to criticize too much (cuz really, what right do I have?) but the details get less and less on the right side of Two-Face. But maybe this was the camera?

Thanks mate. Yeah, I'm not sure why they killed him tbh...He had a lot of mileage that character. I honestly thought he would be kept for the third film. Ah well.

The tosser bit made me giggle.
I actually think this is pretty good, especially given that exposed muscle and whatnot are hard to detail with acrylics. I must say, Nolanverse Two-Face makes the mutilation of Dent's face more believable compared to the blue/green/purple skins you tend to see. But I guess that's how the skin gets after a while.

You're spot on there, it's bloody difficult to work on detail with acrylics...mostly because when you think you've blended well, some of the colour tends to darken when it dries and separates it from the rest. I agree with the skin analysis

I don't think it's flat at all. Your shadowing is great, your dimension is well played out, and I love how did you the background.
I like your Joker art and I love this, but I am patiently waiting for the day you do Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow XD

I agree. There's so much emotion and little emotion that needs to be put into abstract backgrounds (or any sort of abstract art for that matter) that it feels good. I feel like abstraction starts off as nothing and you just go where your mind takes you...and then later, you look at it and give it meaning. It rarely starts with meaning. And sometimes ends up with no meaning.
At least, that's how I see it.

I would love to see your Cillian attempts; he is so hard to capture and Scarecrow is such a mess of dichotomy I haven't found many that can portray him correctly.
I loved his line in TDK though "That's not my diagnosis!"

The eye of his slightly severed side seems to be a bit to close to the nose, but other than that - great.
The look on his face (well, half of it) is very well done.
I love Twoface, and the Dark Knight-Version was awesome

Aaron Eckhart did a wonderful job in TDK, I think. He was sympathetic as Harvey and intimidating as Two-Face.
