I use a meteorology radar to find the cloud. You just have to remember the azimuth (this one was on the north-east).
Cumulonimbus clouds are very large clouds (especially the anvil) capable of lightning, heavy rain and hail. All of these can be found on actual meteorology map.

The top of this cloud (anvil) is in green-blue, heavy rain is in red and hail is in white color. Lightning is usually detected near the red area (on this map lightning detection was disabled)
